Rosewood London

Both the Rosewood restaurants host a special dinner on New Year's Eve.

Both of the Rosewood London restaurants, the Holborn Dining Room and the Mirror Room, dish up special New Year's Eve dinners. The Mirror Room offers a glass of champagne and canapes on arrival followed by an indulgent five-course menu accompanied by entertainment from a live jazz quartet. The Holborn Dining Room, meanwhile, serves up a three-course menu before hosting an after-party with live music until 11pm and a DJ until 2am. Diners at the Mirror Room are invited to join the after party, which also includes a private firework display in the courtyard which starts on the stroke of midnight. Scarfes Bar will also be getting in on the action with a cocktail and canape party with live entertainment and access to the fireworks.

Both venues within the Oxo Tower will be serving special dinners on New Year's Eve.

Both theOxo Tower RestaurantandBrasserieare hosting special dinners on New Year's Eve, both with the accompaniment of live music before DJ sets and dancing until the early hours. In the restaurant, diners can enjoy any three courses from the a la carte menu as well as alcoholic drinks. Live music will take place in the restaurant between 7.30pm and 1am and guests will be able to move through to the Brasserie for after dinner dancing. In theBrasserie, diners can choose between an early sitting or a late sitting, with the latter providing the chance to keep your table for the evening. Both options come with half a bottle of champagne, a three-course dinner, live music until 11pm and a DJ until 2am. If booked in for the early sitting, guests are welcome to move through to the bar afterwards. It's worth noting that, due to the curve in the river, you can't see the fireworks from the OXO Tower. You can walk the 10 minutes to see them but it will be busy.


Henrietta Bistro

The Experimental Group boys, founders of Henrietta Hotel in Covent Garden, not to mention their beach club in Ibiza and hotel in Paris, know how to throw a party. Well, they've been doing it since 2010 when Experimental Cocktail Club opened in Chinatown. On New Year's Eve they're not just serving creative cocktails, head chef Sylvain Roucayrol has crafted a special Pintxos menu inspired by the Basque Country. For 60, you can have the full San Sebastian experience with unlimited dishes including scallops ceviche, ham and raclette croquetas, chipirones with squid ink aioli, clams in basque cider and lobster burgers. Known for its buzzing atmosphere, Henrietta Bistro will keep the music pumping, staying open until 1am on 31st December.

Dress up in your best supper club glam outfit and head to Duck & Waffle to countdown to 2019 with the special New Year's Eve celebrations. The experience, on the 40th floor of 110 Bishopsgate, is inspired by the 1920s with a live band playing retro tunes. Guests can opt for bar or dining tickets, with the bar tickets including a welcome cocktail, a selection of canapes and entertainment with seating available on a first-come-first-served basis. There's also the option of a premium bar ticket, which includes a booth for six people. Those opting for dinner can choose between an early five course tasting menu or later six course tasting menu, both include a bottle of champagne and a post-dinner platter of canapes. Tickets for the evening range from £125 to £325 per person. NOTE: whilst the venue has fantastic views of the London skyline, it does not have direct views of the fireworks at the London Eye which will be shown on screens in the restaurant and bar.

Providing 'the ultimate view of the Mayor of London's fireworks', Hutong is the perfect spot to spend New Year's Eve. The restaurant will be serving a five-course northern Chinese menu of sharing dishes, along with half a bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne. There will be entertainment during dinner and after guests will be able to enjoy the fireworks and join the party on Level 31 in Aqua Shard, where a DJ will play until the early hours. Alternatively, guests can opt to stay at the table for after-dinner drinks. Dinner tickets are 345 and bar tickets are 120, which include a glass of champagne on arrival and a dim sum platter.



The first New Year's Eve bash since Soho House reopened Kettner's in January this year.

A glamorous option this New Year is Kettner's, reopened in January this year after two years under scaffolding. "Who knows how many champagne-fuelled flings, exotic entanglements and torrid trysts have taken place in this Romilly Street institution" wrote Tom Parker Bowles after Soho House took over this Soho survivor. Have your own dalliance on December 31st within this Grade II listed building where the pianist plays live while you sip bubbles, served by a barman in white jacket and bow tie, at the legendary champagne bar. Dinner, served in two sittings from 5pm until 11.30pm, begins with a selection of hors d'oeuvres for the table followed by roast turbot or beef wellington.

For a stylish New Year's Eve, book a table at the trendy Sea Containers restaurant within the Mondrian London hotel. With striking views across the River Thames and sleek interiors, it's an aesthetically pleasing experience all round - you might even see some fireworks. For 95 per person the four course set menu includes a glass of champagne on arrival and a pre starter followed by a starter of either pearl barley salad, clay oven roasted pigeon or gravlax. For main, there's either pan seared halibut, winter cep pasta or braised beef cheeks while pudding options are chocolate lava cake, roasted apple crumble or cheese.


The Savoy London

For a dose of glitz and glamour this New Year's Eve get yourself to The Savoy, where all three celebrations offer a riverside view of the official New Year's Eve fireworks. Book in at the Beaufort Bar and you'll get unlimited canapes and Champagne. Small bites include almond macarons foie gras parfait and charred Hertford beetroot fillet with black truffle aioli as well as salted caramel rocher with crunchy wafer and hazelnut. Alternatively, enjoy a four course meal by recently appointed executive chef, Fabrice Lasnon, at Kaspar's at The Savoy or Thames Foyer, with a glass of Champagne to welcome you. If you really want to impress your friends sign up for a six course meal, where you'll be dining on scallops and sea bass, in The Savoy ballroom.
