Already a perfect pair, Pimm's was named has been named an official partner of Wimbledon and to celebrate the drinks brand is hosting serval pop-up events and bars throughout London, the most notable of which can be found on the roof of Selfridge's. The Pimm's Wimbledon Bar transforms the Selfridges Roof Deck Restaurant and Bar into a summertime haven with Wimbledon-themed decor, live coverage of the Championships on a big screen and plenty of ice-cold Pimm's.
The big tennis balls are back at Bluebird, which signals two weeks of Wimbledon themed food, drink and pop-ups. The courtyard will be the perfect place to enjoy the championships with a Moet big screen, a champagne truck and bespoke Bluebird ice cream courtesy of the Four Winters pop-up, taking the classic flavour of strawberries and cream and giving it a fun twist exclusively for the Bluebird. On Sunday 16th July, when the men's finals are on, the restaurant will be serving a special three-course menu for the occasion. Tickets are £100 per person for the three-course meal and Wimbledon screening.
Old Spitalfields Market dedicates its July night market to Wimbledon, creating the one-night Wimbledon Gone East event. The iconic market will be transformed into the ultimate viewing space on Friday 14th July with a double-sided screen - one for serious viewers and one for fun seekers - free-to-use deckchairs, tennis training and games, live music from Hoxton Radio, and the obligatory strawberries with cream, Pimm's and Prosecco. The market's street food vendors will also be on hand to feed hungry visitors, with the likes of Bleecker Burger, Café Caribbean and Poppies Fish and Chips in attendance.
The Conrad London Hotel celebrates Wimbledon with a Pimm's fuelled afternoon tea. Guests are invited to feast on a number of Wimbledon-themed creations including cucumber sandwiches with a twist, a mini Pimm's trifle, a strawberry and cream pearl, and a lemon and basil delice, which could be mistaken for an actual tennis ball. Plus, to make it a bit more special, there's the option of free-flowing Pimm's. The tea will be served in the hotel's Emmeline's Lounge from 3rd to 16th July.
Scottish restaurant Mac & Wild turns its outside terrace into an Andy Murray Fan Zone this July, allowing city dwellers to take a trip to Centre Court without stepping foot out of the Square Mile. In support of the Scottish hero, the terrace will be decked out in Wimbledon attire with grass courts, Murray masks and tennis balls galore. Guests will also be able to feast on a Wimbledon Murray Menu with jugs of Mac & Wild's Highland Summer Cup (whisky Pimm's), Scottish strawberries and cream, Venison scotch eggs served on grass courts and, back by popular demand, the Murray Mound burger. The restaurant will be screening every major game in the Championships on a 50inch TV on the terrace, which is protected by a cover.
