Gala FestivalBack for a third year but it's first in Peckham Rye Park, Gala is kicking off the summer with Chicago house legend Derrick Carter, disco pioneer Daniele Baldelli and Ibiza's Alfredo playing at the one-day festival on the late May Bank Holiday Sunday. They're joined by Norman Jay, Greg Wilson and Melodies International co-founder Mafalda on the main stage, Horse Meat Disco returns to host 'The Pleasure Dome' stage and local luminaries Rhythm Section head-up their own stage. Peckham via New Zealand duo Chaos in the CBD and Rhythm Section's rising star Z Lovecraft join them while vinyl outlets Rye Wax and YAM Records host a record fair on site. The music line-up is complemented by quality street food - there's BBQ from Slow Ritchies, Maltby Market's famous Cheese Truck, fried chicken by Other Side Fried and Honest Burger is back with the GALA Burger to keep the party going long after sunset plus Peckham's Brick Brewery will be there keeping everyone hydrated.
